Why Pencil Pilot? My eighth grade math teacher called me Pencil Pilot for the entire year. It wasn’t a nickname that stuck (unlike pencils flown into the ceiling tiles of his classroom), but the funny memories associated, did. For now, the former nickname name suits me for blogging. I’m guilty of pencil jottings on everything from napkins to receipts and backs of envelopes. Occasionally, I progress to iPhone notes and quickly dictated idea clips.

I’m going through various upheavals in my life and writing about them seems to lessen the stress and sting.  Any difficulty I’ve lived through, thus far, was easier to take when I reminded myself there were others in the same boat. Or plane…train…automobile. No matter our vehicle, my philosophy is:  WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. ♥

Thank you for visiting and following my blog “Musings of a Horse Mom.” Great to have you on board … One thing about the divorce club is it’s a wonderful place to learn all kinds of great stuff about yourself and to start purging all the things you don’t want to carry around with you anymore. A great time to learn how to nurture yourself. … I wish you well on this new journey. It was the making of me. I hope it is for you too. … Be well and enjoy the ride … Dorothy 🙂
